Corrib Safari is owned and operated by Safe Water Training LTD. Safe Water Training is led by Donnchadh Mac Cobb, one of the most experienced and qualified Powerboat Operators, Instructors and Instructor Trainers in Ireland. He leads a highly skilled and dedicated team focused on training, consultancy, safety and event management in the marine sector as well as creating and delivering unique and memorable experiences for guests with Corrib Safari. 

Having started out in the marine training industry in the early 2000's, Donnchadh gained his experience working in some of the countries biggest and busiest sailing clubs, powerboat and sailing training centres as well as numerous adventure centres, adventure tour companies, team building providers and luxury experience providers over the years including opening and operaing his own adventure tourism businesses and Powerboat and Sailing training centres in Dublin City. 

With 15 years experience with the Irish Coast Guard as a Coxswain and Cliff Rescue Climber, Donnchadh has significant frontline operational experience along with his comprehensive Instructing career to date. Having previously operated his own accredited training centres and adventure tourism businesses on the east coast, Donnchadh then moved to the west of Ireland where he now operates Safe Water Training's centre of operations while also delivering services around the country.

Donnchadh has gained enormous experience over the last 20 years working with high level stakeholders including Government Organisations, City and County Councils, Commercial Ports, Search and Rescue Organisations, Survey Companies, Advertising Agencies, National and Local Tourism Organisations, Event Organisers as well as numerous Clubs, Charities and individuals alike.
